Editing Catalogs

Using Business Manager, you can edit catalogs singly or delete them in groups. You can also edit catalog categories singly or in groups (batch processing).
  1. Select site > Merchant Tools > Products and Catalogs > Catalogs.
  2. On the Catalogs page, click a catalog ID.
    1. Click the Edit link for the catalog you want to edit.
    2. Make the required changes. (See the following steps.)
    3. Click Apply.
  3. On the Categories page, for each category, you can:
    • Create sub-categories of the current category and sort them.
    • Link categories to the current category. For example, you can link the Accessories category to the Womens category.
    • Add products to the current category.
  4. To edit, copy or delete catalog categories singly, select the category, and then the subcategory.
  5. To edit, copy, or delete multiple catalog categories:
    1. Select the categories you want to edit or click Select All and then click Edit Selected.
    2. Click Edit All to edit all catalogs.
      Clicking Select All or Edit All marks the entire result set for editing, not just the those shown on the first page (if there is more than one page of results).
  6. On the Reassign Categories page, select one of these actions:
    • Update/Delete Category Attributes: Select category attributes to update or delete. A batch process performs the action.
    • Copy Categories: Select one or more categories to copy. A batch process performs the action.
    • Delete Categories: Select one or more categories to delete. A batch process performs the action.
  7. From these actions, you navigate to the Batch Processing page.
