Google Pay Supported Locales

The Google Pay button is localized based on website preferences; however, the payment sheet labels are determined by system preferences/language. The button is in the same locale as the website; the payment sheet is in the same locale as the user’s systems preferences.

The labels specific to Google Pay(shown in English) are:

Resource files are bundled in Commerce Cloud Digital that contain localized Google Pay labels for supported languages. Customers can include paymentrequest.properties and paymentrequest_[locale].properties files in a custom cartridge in their cartridge path to override the Digital default labels. Digital default labels are provided in the following languages:

Note: To troubleshoot issues from other regions, change the region setting on the device to a region where Google Pay is supported.
