Order Search Results

The Order Search Results is a listing of Items that met the selected search criteria. This listing can give you a quick overview of the workflow status of the Orders as well as the Allocated and Fulfillment levels. From here you can select an Order by the Item ID link to open the Order details page where you can manage the Order. See Order Details Page for information on the aspects that can be managed for an Order.

There are two ways to perform Order searches in the Administration module. Select a list of Orders in a particular state from the Order Summary section or use the Search form at the top of the Orders Manager page. See Searching for Sales Orders in the Administration Module for detailed steps on the ways to search.

The search results are shown in a ListView. Individual records can be opened by clicking the ID link. Multiple records can be selected by checking the box next to the record. Checking the column header box checks all records in the search results. Buttons below the results allow checking all, clearing all, checking records on that page and clearing checks on that page. When records have been checked, the page refreshes to expose the Bulk Actions at the bottom which might be taken on all the records that have been selected. See Order checkbox in the table below.

To search and view a list of Orders, follow these steps:

  1. In the Main accordion menu, select Orders Manager. The Orders Manager dashboard page appears.
  2. Search and locate the Order(s). The Order Search Results page appears.

The following table describes the fields, buttons, and components of the Order Search Results page.

Fields and Buttons Description
Search form fields and Search button Searches for an Order using the Search form at the top of the Orders Manager page.
Search results listing Lists all identified Orders that met the search criteria. The Order ID, Catalog (C), Site (S), file Type, Description, Currency, Total price, Allocated amount, Fulfilled amount, and workflow status are listed.
Note: The Currency symbol and Currency code reflect the base system Currency. See Multiple Currencies in the Internationalization online help.
Order checkbox If the checkbox is selected, the page is refreshed with actions that can be performed for that Item including:
  • Run an action on these X orders, such as Advance Workflow, Print Order, Combine, Clear Alert, Suspend Orders, Unsuspend Orders, Create Email batch, or Change Flag. See Common Order Operations for detailed steps to perform these actions.
  • Send payment reminder for these X orders.
  • Email Reminder button with Note field.
Order ID link Opens the Orders details page where you can perform a number of operations including editing, adding, applying promotions.
Check All button Selects all record boxes. The page is refreshed with actions that can be performed as described in Order checkbox above.
Clear All button Clears all selected record boxes.
Check Page button Selects all record boxes on the page that appear. The page is refreshed with actions that can be performed as described in Order checkbox above.
Clear Page button Clears all selected record boxes on the page that appears.
Excel spreadsheet icon ( ) Shows the search results in an Excel spreadsheet.
