Manage site quota

Order Management now enables an Administrator to set a quota for a fulfillment site to restrict allocation based on a quota type. In the Quotas section, you can configure (create), edit, or delete the fulfillment site's quotas.

To configure a quota for a fulfillment site:

  1. From the Quota section on the Fulfillment Site detail page, select a quota type:
    • Hours: Sets the quota by hours and is based on the maximum number of orders, frequency, and effective date/time fields.
    • Days: Sets the quota by days and is based on the maximum number of orders, frequency, and effective date/time fields.
    • Fulfillment Queue: Sets a value for the size of the fulfillment queue and is based only on the maximum number of orders field. Hours and Days are not applicable with Fulfillment Queue.
  2. Enter the maximum number of orders (Required): A numeric value indicating the maximum number of shipping orders that the site is allowed to received based on the quota type.
  3. Enter the frequency. (Required for Hours/Days): A numeric value indicating the duration/frequency of the quota. For example, if set to the Hours quota type and frequency is four, the quota is valid for 4 hours from the effective date/time.
  4. Enter the effective date/time. (Required for Hours/Days): Shipping orders older than this date are considered for the quota. This value is updated whenever the frequency is met.
  5. Click the checkbox if you want to enforce the quota.
  6. Click the Add icon () to save this row of information. Only one quota type can be configured per site.
  7. To edit the quota, click Edit. All fields appear in Edit mode. Click Update to save the changes, or click Cancel to discard the changes.
  8. To delete the quota, click the trash can icon (). The row disappears.
