Batch Emails

The Batch email tool can be used to search, view, and manage Batch Emails in Order Management. See Sending Batches of Order Emails in the Administration Module for steps to send an email for one or more orders from any list of orders.

To access the Batch Emails tool, click Batch Emails from the Utilities accordion menu in the left navigation panel. The Batch Email page appears. From here you can do the following:

Fields and Buttons Description
Activities search fields and Search button Includes the following controls for searching for activities or narrowing the shown list of activities. To narrow the list, set the controls and click Search.

  • Site
  • A drop-down list to search by Template, Label, or Object ID.
  • Quick Search: A drop-down list to search by Active, Alerted, Locked, Suspended, NotVisible, Close, or by Waiting Approval workflow status.
  • Date Range
  • Flag
Search Result Listing When viewing a list of batch emails, the following fields are included. Note that any column heading that is underlined can be used to sort the results.
  • Checkbox (to select a record)
  • Alert
  • ID
  • Tag
  • Catalog
  • Site
  • Date
  • Label
  • Template
  • Progress
  • Status
  • Flag
Select Action drop-down and GO Button When you select one or more Email Batches in the list using the check boxes, the Select Action drop-down list appears where you can lear an Alert, Suspend Batches, or Unsuspend Batches. Then click GO. No feedback appears.
Batch Email Details page Shows the following information about the batch email:
  • General Information section including the ID, Date, Object Type, Label, Description, and Template Name
  • Summary section including the number of Orders in the Batch and the number of Orders in a pending process in the Batch
  • Extended Attributes section, of any Attributes have been identified
  • Details section including Activity, Emails, and System Events tabs. You can also click the New button to create an Activity or an Email.
