Password Policy

You Can Define Password Policies that apply password requirements to user accounts. Separate policies are available for accounts with and without the Administrator role. To comply with PCI requirements, set up password policies for all user accounts.

A special policy applies to accounts that have the Report Author role, which is used to create database reports. Due to PCI restrictions, the Report Author policy can't be edited.

If you use Account Manager to manage user accounts, then only the Report Author password policy is in effect.
