Using the Cache Information Tool

Before using the tool, select Administration > Sites > Manage Sites > site > Cache, and deselect the Enable Page Caching option. If page caching is enabled, then the processing time is only evaluated the first time the page component is retrieved. It's more useful if the page caching is disabled, so that you can evaluate processing time as you make changes.
  1. Select the site to view and click Storefront. A new tab appears in your browser showing the storefront.
  2. Navigate to the page that you want to inspect.
  3. Click the down arrow for the icon in the upper left corner of the storefront. The storefront toolkit menu appears.
  4. Select Cache Information. Immediately, two new icons appear in the storefront:
    • (cached): hover over any icon to see the Cache Profiler Tool information for a cached portion of the page. This window shows information on the pipeline, the template, the processing time, and the caching status.
    • (uncached): hover over any icon to see the Cache Profiler Tool information for an uncached portion of the page. This window shows information on the pipeline, the template, the processing time, and the caching status.
