To configure settings for the Stripe integration for payments, create and associate a
Commerce Payments merchant account with this Commerce Cloud instance. Then complete onboarding
with Stripe.
To access the Commerce Payments configuration settings, create a merchant account
through a Commerce Cloud instance.

Create and associate a Commerce Payments merchant account.

On the Stripe Account Associate page, select Create a Stripe
Account with Salesforce Payments.

Click the Country Code dropdown and select the country
where the account-holding organization resides or where the business is legally
established.
If you’ve previously created a Commerce Payments merchant account for another
Commerce Cloud instance, you can associate that account to other Commerce Cloud
instances.
- On the Stripe Account Association page, select Associate a Salesforce Payments
Stripe Account with this Instance.
- In the Stripe Account ID field, enter the ID for an existing Commerce
Payments Stripe account. You can access the ID from your instance’s Salesforce
Payment Setup page or from the Stripe Dashboard’s Account Details page.

Click Next.
The page refreshes with a message that your account was created and associated.
A status prompt shows your onboarding status.
If done, the Onboard with Stripe button doesn’t display. Instead, the status is
Onboarding Complete.
The Associated Stripe Account section of the page shows the merchant account
number associated. To remove the association between the merchant account and this
instance, click Remove Account Association, and then confirm the
removal of the association. To permanently delete the account, go to the Stripe Dashboard.
