Onboard Your Stripe Account

The Stripe onboarding process collects business information such as names, addresses, and bank accounts. The steps vary based on the Stripe account country. You can modify or add information from the Stripe dashboard accessed either from Business Manager or directly from the Stripe site based on Stripe account's user permissions.

  1. If you've associated a Stripe account to the instance but haven't completed the onboarding, click Onboard with Stripe.
  2. To complete the onboarding, follow the instructions on the Stripe site.
    See Stripe documentation for support and documentation on the onboarding process. After the onboarding process is complete, you’re returned to the Account Association page in Commerce Cloud.
  3. To verify if there are further steps required by Stripe, click Go to Stripe Dashboard.
You can enable charges to test payments even if you haven’t completed onboarding your Stripe account. You can use a Commerce Payments Stripe account associated with the instance to create payments in test mode. See Stripe Testing for details on testing your integration before going live.
