Getting Started with Commerce Payments

You can build your storefront with SFRA and the plugin_commercepayments overlay plugin, and then configure Commerce Payments in Business Manager to integrate your Commerce Cloud instances with the Stripe payment platform.

Note: To use Commerce Payments, your Salesforce Support team must enable the Salesforce Payments feature switch in Business Manager.

Note: Internet Explorer isn't a supported browser for Commerce Payments.

For Stripe's terms of service with the SEPA payment option, replace [the seller] with the appropriate name in the sepa_debit.message.mandate key name entry in plugin_commercepayments/cartridges/plugin_commercepayments/cartridge/templates/resources/salesforcepayments.properties.

Set up Commerce Payments in Business Manager to associate a merchant account to the Commerce Cloud instance, onboarding your merchant account.
Configure Commerce Payments to enable your site, configure payment methods, register an Apple Pay domain, and test payments in test and live modes.
Use ISML tags and Script APIs to integrate Commerce Payments functionality in your site. See the new commerce payment ISML elements isbuynow and ispayment, and the dw.extensions.payments topics in the B2C Commerce Infocenter.
Test and validate that Commerce Payments processed the test payment using the Stripe processor. See Validate Payments in Test and Live Modes.
Note: In either live or test mode, you can view the order from the storefront or the Stripe Dashboard to confirm that Commerce Payments processed the payment using the Stripe processor. A Stripe payment intent ID is listed for the order.
