When you target a component for a campaign or promotion, any visibility rules you
have configured for the component based on customer group or schedule are overridden. If the
campaign or promotion you assign to the component includes visibility rules based on
customer group or schedule, those rules are used for the component.

From the visual editor, open the page.

Click a component.

In the right pane, click the arrow next to the component name, and select
Targeting.

Under Campaign or Promotion, click Assign.

Click the campaign or promotion in the left pane.
To filter the list of campaigns and promotions displayed, type text in the
Search field.

Click Assign.

Click Apply.

Click Save or Save &
Close.
