Template Manager object merge fields

Merge fields can be included in custom templates in plain text or HTML formats. Merge fields are common fields that are available to import into the template for customer-facing documents.

Note: Merge fields must match the object type the email or template is associated with. For example, the shipping order merge fields can only be used with templates for shipping orders, otherwise the merge field doesn't populate.

Price adjustment fields on templates have replaced Discount and Discount2 fields.

The standard syntax for a merge field is ##field name##. The following merge fields are available for any template regardless of the object selected:

company_address
company_domain
company_email
company_fax
company_guid
company_link
company_name
company_phone
company_ship_address
company_url
Note: Some templates might use NVelocity merge fields. The syntax of these fields is preceded with a dollar sign ($'). For example, $activeUser.EmailAddress.

Available merge fields are based on the object defined to use that template, are set when defining an attribute, and are based on your implementation. See Template Manager for the steps to view the object merge fields.
