Payment search results

• Payments that are alerted
• Unattached, or orphaned
• A payment in a pending payment status (occurs when a payment provider uses asynchronous mode)
• Payments in a particular workflow state such as Waiting Authorization, Waiting Capture, Waiting Application, or Partial Capture
• An individual payment based on a customer inquiry

There are two ways to perform payment searches: Selecting a list of payments in a particular state from the [view] link in the Payment Summary section, or using the Search form at the top of the Payment Manager page. See Searching for Payments in the Administration Module for details.

Payment search results are listed so you can view and manage the payments in the list. There is a limit of 250 results.

The search results are shown in a ListView. Individual payment records can be opened by clicking the ID link. Multiple records can be selected by checking the box next to the record. Checking the column header box checks all records in the search results. Buttons below the results allow checking all, clearing all, checking records on that page and clearing checks on that page. When records have been checked, the page refreshes to expose the Bulk Actions at the bottom which might be taken on all the records that have been selected. To search and view a list of payments, follow these steps:

1. In Order Management Administration: click Accounting > Payment Manager.
2. From the Payment Manager dashboard page, search or locate the payments. The Payment search results appear.

The following table describes the components of the Payment search results:

Fields and Buttons	Description
Search results listing	A listing of all identified Items that met the search criteria including: ID: The Payment ID. Clicking the ID opens the Payment Details Page for that payment. Catalog: Item catalog used for the order. Site: Site (such as retail store or warehouse) where inventory is allocated and fulfilled for the order. Date: The date associated with the payment. Method: The payment method such as gift card or American Express payments. Customer: Customer name (and customer number) associated with the payment in the order. Last Transaction: The type of transaction including AuthOnly, Capture, Sale, Credit, Refund. Note: When the transaction response is delayed when a payment provider uses asynchronous mode, Order Management records the transaction using one of the following payment transaction types: InfoRequest, SaleRequest, AuthOnlyRequest, CaptureRequest, RefundRequest, VoidRequest, AVSOnly Request, ForceRequest, ReauthRequest. Currency: The currency used for the payment. Note: Order Management supports 128 currencies for processing orders, payments, and invoices. Currency refers to the money or 'medium of exchange' used in a country, such as U.S. dollars, British pound sterling, or European euros.See Multiple Currencies for details on currencies. Amount: The amount of the payment. Balance: The remaining balance of the payment. Status: The workflow status of the payment including: Active, Alerted. Locked, Suspended, NotVisible, Closed, Void, Unattached, Orphaned, Waiting Authorization, Waiting Capture, Waiting Application, Partial Capture. Note: When the transaction response is delayed when a payment provider uses asynchronous mode, the payment status is noted with a (P) following the status. Waiting Authorization (P): An authorization has been requested and is waiting an approval/denial response from the gateway Waiting Capture (P): A capture/sales has been requested and is waiting an approval/denial response from the gateway Orphaned (WAP): A payment is orphaned and an authorization has been requested and is waiting an approval/denial response from the gateway Orphaned (WCP): A payment is orphaned and a capture/sale has been requested and is waiting an approval/denial response from the gateway
Selection checkbox	Used to select one or more payments requiring an action. When one or more selections are made, a new section at the bottom of the page appears where you can can perform a number of actions including Advance the Workflow, Close, Clear Alert, Suspend Payment, Unsuspend Payment for the selected payments for the selected records.
ID link	Opens the Payment details page where you can view/clear alerts, add payments, attach records, view transactions and system details regarding the Customer.
Check All button	Selects all record boxes.
Clear All button	Clears all selected record boxes.
Check Page button	Selects all record boxes on the page that appears.
Clear Page button	Clears all selected record boxes on the page that appears.
Spreadsheet icon ( )	Shows the search results in a spreadsheet.
