Create the .Ipa File

You create an .ipa file, which contains the app, in order to deploy it.

1. Open the project in Appcelerator Studio.
2. Select Endless-Aisle-App in the project explorer window
3. Click Package (next to the green arrow in the header of Appcelerator Studio).
4. Select iOS Ad Hoc/Enterprise.
5. Specify the following:
   • Distribution certificate, which you created previously (see Create the production in-house distribution certificate in Set Up the iOS Developer Enterprise Account.)
   • Provisioning profile, which you created previously (see Create an in-house distribution profile in Set Up the iOS Developer Enterprise Account.)
   • SDK version
   • Location of the app
6. Click Publish.

Appcelerator Studio creates the .ipa file.

To install the .ipa file on an iPad:

1. Connect the iPad to the Mac.
2. Launch Xcode.
3. Select Window > Devices.
4. Click + under the table of Installed Apps.
5. Select the .ipa file that you created.
