The Activity Manager can be used to track and manage activities in Order Management that might require follow-up action. An activity is a note made on an object in Order Management. A common use of activities is to track tasks with user-defined details and follow-up dates. You can define your own custom codes to represent activities and their results. The Activities Manager dashboard contains an Activity Summary section. See Activity Queue.
To access the Activity Manager, in Order Management Administration: click Customers > Activity Manager. The Activity Manager dashboard page appears. From here you can do the following:The following table describes the components of the Activities dashboard:

Activities search fields and Search button | Includes the following controls for searching for
activities or narrowing the shown list of activities. To
narrow the list, set the controls and click Search.

Activities Summary section | Shows the number of activities requiring follow-up action. |
[view] link | Shows the full list of search results of activity records. |
New Activity link | Shows the New Activity page so you can add an activity. |
When viewing a list of activities the following fields are included. Note that any column heading that is underlined can be used to sort the results.

Activity Date link | Date that the activity was created. When you click the date link, the Activity Detail page appears with General Information section and Linked Records section. If you click Edit, the Edit Activity page appears where you can edit the fields. |
Code | The type of activity code such as Call Customer, Customer Request or Send Email. |
Result | The identified result of the activity. |
Subject | The title line of the activity. |
Notes | Any details regarding the activity. |
Follow Up | The date designated for follow-up action. |
Select All button | Selects all the activity records. |
Clear Selection button | Clears all selected activity records. |

Private | Enter any private notes that won't be shared with the customer. |
Activity Closed checkbox | Select the checkbox to close the activity. "(Closed)' is shown on the Subject line. |
Update button | Update the system with the information. |
Cancel button | Discards the information and returns to the Activity results listing. |
