Edit Image Information

Order Management maintains detailed records of each Item that you enter into the system. The Item details page contains all the relevant information regarding an Item organized by section. From this page, you can modify the image information or replace the image.

Note: Images uploaded when creating a new Item are automatically linked to that Item. See Create a New Item. An Unlinked images can be linked to an item on the Upload Images page accessed from the Image section of the Item details dialog by entering Image ID and clicking Attach on the Upload Images.

Be sure that you have configured the size of each of the three image versions in Order Management Administration: Settings > Preferences > General > Imaging. See Imaging Preferences.

The following table describes the components, fields, and buttons of the Edit Image Information page.

Fields and Buttons Description
Image size Shows the current sizes of the Image in the three resized versions: Full, Medium, and Thumb.
Image Code Show the code (name) assigned to the image.
Utilities - Resample button Opens the Image Code and Image Description fields. Here you can add or change Image information.
Replace Image section Shows the choices available to replace an Image. You can select the scale of the replacement image and upload the replacement image.
Scale drop-down A drop-down list where you can resize an uploaded image by selecting a value in this drop-down list. Scale choices are 200%, 150%, 125%, 100% (default), 75%, 50%, 25%.
Browse button Browses your folders for a replacement image.
Upload button Uploads the replacement Image.
Note: Uploaded images must be smaller than 2MB. Order Management automatically generates three resized versions: full, medium, and thumb.
Update button Saves the changes made the image.
Cancel button Discards the changes made the image.
