Purchase Order Entry

The PO Entry is where you can track and manage purchase orders in Order Management. You can get quick information about your purchase orders as well as create and manage purchase orders. You might want to create purchase orders to replace inventory from a vendor, to receive inventory for a drop-ship order, or to ensure adequate inventory for auto-ship orders. The PO Entry dashboard contains the purchase order queues with Purchase Order Summary and Incomplete Purchase Order Summary sections. See Queues for details on purchase order queues. To create a purchase order, select PO Entry from the Inventory accordion menu in the left navigation panel. The Purchase Order Entry dashboard page appears. From here you can perform the following operations:

Fields and Buttons Description
Purchase Order Summary section Shows the purchase order queue, which shows the workflow states. States include Incomplete, Waiting Approval, Waiting Fulfillment, and Waiting Filing.
  [view] link Shows the full list of search results of purchase order records in the selected workflow state..
Search results listing A listing of all identified vendors that met the search criteria. The ID, site (S), such as warehouses where inventory is allocated and fulfilled, type of purchase order, such as Auto, Dropship, and Manual, description, date, currency, total amount, workflow status, and flag (of orders flagged) columns appear for each purchase order.
New Purchase Order link Opens the initial vendor page where you select a vendor and add Items to a purchase order.
Incomplete Purchase Order section Shows the incomplete purchase orders, which show the workflow states.
  Purchase Order ID link Open the initial vendor page where you can modify the vendor or purchase order item information.
