When creating a customer return, a reason for the adjustment provides documentation as to why the items are being returned.
The following table describes the fields and buttons that appear on the Reason for Adjustment page.
Fields and buttons | Description |

Activity Code drop-down | A drop-down list that further defines the type of order activity that is being documented in the activity notes. Examples might be: Credit, Appeasement, Email Follow-Up, Order Status Inquiry |
Result Code drop-down | A drop-down list that further defines the result of the communication with the customer, which is being documented in the activity notes. Examples might be: Satisfied, Not Satisfied, No Answer, Left Message |
Subject | A brief description of the subject of the Activity notes. |
Notes | The details of the activity, as appropriate. |
Submit button | Submits the return and create a return order. The new
return order is listed in the Return Orders section of
the Order details page with a status of 'Waiting
Receiving'. If any errors are encountered a message appears at the top of the Order details page. |
