Exclude a Product from a Rule-Based Categorization Rule Set

You can exclude product from an existing rule set.

  1. In Business Manager select Merchant Tools > Site > Products and Catalogs > Catalogs.
  2. Navigate to your category and click edit.
  3. Open the Categorization Rules tab.
  4. Click Preview.
  5. From the Rule Preview list, select the product you want to exempt from the rule.
  6. Click Exclude.
  7. (Optional) To restore the excluded products and maintain the category rule:
    1. Click Edit.
    2. Leave the rule setting as is.
    3. Click Save.
      The excluded products are restored to the rule set results.
  8. To manually run the rule set, click Run. If the rule set is configured to run as a bulk job, review the results after the bulk job runs.
