Geolocation Lookup for IP Addresses

You can view and validate geolocation lookup for IP addresses.

The geolocation associated with a storefront request is available through the API and can also be used in customer group membership rules.

See Store Geolocation Data.

  1. Select Administration > Operations > IP Address Geolocation Data.
  2. Enter an IP address into the IP Address field and click Find, to search for the geolocation associated with it, for example, 127.0.0.1.
  3. View diagnostic information about the geolocation database, which indicates the freshness of the Geolocation data.

    The following information, provided to the vendor, can help diagnose issues with improper IP address data:

    • Database build time
    • Database published time
    • Database type, for example, GeoLite1-City
