Map Address To
Determines how Salesforce B2C Commerce looks up tax
jurisdictions based on a customer shipping address.
If set
to Jurisdiction ID, the address attribute configured with
Address Mapping 1 is matched against the ID of your
jurisdictions.
If set to Jurisdiction Mappings, the
address attributes configured with Address Mapping 1 and Address
Mapping 2 are matched against the jurisdiction mappings configured
for your site.
Address Mapping 1
Use to select which address attributes are used to
determine a tax jurisdiction.
For Address Mapping 1,
you can select Country, State, or Zip.
For Address
Mapping 2, you can define a combination of attributes such as
Country/State or Country/Zip.
Address Mapping 2
If the Map Address To setting is Jurisdiction
ID, B2C Commerce automatically sets Address
Mapping 2 to not used.
On the Tax Classes tab, you can:
Create a tax class for your site.
Set a tax class to be the default tax class. This tax class
is used for products and services that are not assigned to a
particular tax class.
Delete a tax class.
On the Tax Jurisdictions tab, you can specify tax jurisdictions
for your site.
When tax jurisdictions are determined based on jurisdiction
mappings, B2C Commerce tries to find a jurisdiction for the
combination of Address Mapping Attribute 1 (for example, state)
and Mapping Attribute 2 (for example, zip). If no specific
jurisdiction can be found, the system falls back to a jurisdiction
represented by just Mapping Attribute 1 (for example, state).
If it can't find a jurisdiction for this mapping, it returns the
default jurisdiction.
Create a tax jurisdiction.
Set a tax jurisdiction to the default tax class.
Delete one or more tax jurisdictions.
On the Tax Rates tab, you can specify tax rates for your site. On this page, you define
the tax rates for any combination of tax class and tax jurisdiction.
Enter the exempt tax rate for tax class/tax
jurisdiction combinations.
Enter the standard tax rate for tax class/tax
jurisdiction combinations.
